Grassfed Goodness

Updated: Nov 7, 2021

The fat is where it's at, and in this case on this beautiful steer the fat is a beautiful golden yellow hue which is expressive of the nutrient-dense beta-carotene contained therein. No outside inputs, just solar energy, grass, some love and a little bit of patience...but the reward is second to none.

I am so impressed. My grandfather went to farms to butcher hogs after ww2 in Germany. My dad helped him sometimes. It is an honorable profession to be able to humanely slaughter livestock and it tastes so much better because the animals are not afraid.
